  1. Hi Deb,

The meetings are at 6:30 every second Thursday except August.
The email with the agenda should have all the meeting details.

I’ll double check to make sure. Thanks.

  2. I wrote a letter and hand delivered to my neighbors on my street and the next block. Basically asked neighbors to be aware of vehicles driving very slow thru the neighborhood, cleaning up the yards, prepare for earthquakes and moving trash cans off the street and into the backyard. After I delivered the notice, the Asian students next door kept all 3 trash cans on the street for 2 weeks and when my husband and I were working in our front yard would, one at a time walk outside with a bag of trash , made sure we saw them and threw it in the trash cans. There was also trash on the ground. They basically taunted us every time we were working outside. The chinese owner bragged how the rent was paid to him a year in advance. Very suspicious house. The city gave the students a fine (they should fine the owner). The city needs to reinstate the requirement that trash cans need to be placed in the back yard. Every student rental in our area leaves their trash in front or side where you can see their piled up garbage on the ground and overflowing. We are trying to help our streets look neat and clean. We have renters who also have yards that are awful. Code enforcement notified 1 homeowner 8 years ago. He was laughing and only finished partial work on his house to get the city off his back. His grass is totally dead and the front of the house is not finished. He is the corner house of Goodrich and Hillandale. He rents this house too. On the other corner of Goodrich and east big springs the yard is also dead grass and a mess. Yes we do call the City, but seem slow to get houses cleaned. One house on Mt Vernon and east big springs looks like a dry jungle! We are renovating our front yard and plan to install new fences. We are doing our best to encourage homeowners to do the same. My sister also lives in the neighborhood and is actively turning in students because of their trash. I hope others complain to the city. I wish to live in my neighborhood with neighbors clean yards and removed trash cans, I don’t want my name out on posting due to possible revenge!,
