Call for Nominations
RCPA Bill Howe Award for Police Accountability
The Riverside Coalition for Police Accountability (RCPA) is soliciting nominations for our second annual Bill Howe Award.
This award recognizes a community member for promoting police accountability work and 
for their commitment to the principles and implementation of police oversight. Nominations are open to any community member (including but not limited to activists, scholars, peace officers, elected officials, members of City committees and commissions, journalists, attorneys, etc).
The award was named in honor of Bill Howe, the first Chair of the Community Police Review Commission. His dedication to accountability, oversight, and good police practices epitomizes the standards for this award.

Please include a brief letter describing the qualifications of the person you are nominating and contact information for both the nominator and the nominee. The award will be announced at The Group’s Annual Award Breakfast on December 3rd, 2009.
