In the words of Ricky Riccardo, “Lucy, you have some explaining to do”, Riverside police and officials have yet another opportunity to bring more transparency and accountability into standard operations.

It would be a shame if Chief Leach’s departure became a setback instead of a marker of what’s wanted and needed in our police force.
