Depending on one’s perspective, student renter or homeowner, friction arises as a result of how those values are.weighted and expressed. It looks quite different from the perspective of a temporary resident on the way to a degree and a life somewhere else, than it does from a homeowner who has planted roots and made a commitment of time and resources. .
